Meet the Youth Pastor
Our youth pastor, Joe Kirby, has been leading the teens at Coast Hills Baptist Church since May of 2001. He was born and raised in Santa Maria and grew up with a love for sports, especially football and basketball.
Realizing that there was a lot more to life than athletics, he chose to go to Bible college to train to serve the Lord with his life. Now he is working hard to establish a strong and exciting youth program based on solid, biblical truth.
In June of 2003, He married his wife Jennifer, a native Texan. Together, they are striving to reach the hearts of the young people, and help them achieve God's best for their life. They have both overcome obstacles their own lives by God’s grace and to His glory, and desire to help young people with struggles they face in their own lives.
Our goal is to see young people saved, grow in the Lord, and attain God’s best in all areas of their life- mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially. From strong, biblical preaching to exciting, crazy activities, we do our best to prepare young people to serve the Lord with their life...today.
